This is possibly true, however the main Buck/Otomo outfit of the time was 'Peril', which also featured Kato Hideki and Michael Sheridin. These chaps did an amazing tour of OZ in 1990-91, well before Otomo became the wire pin-up boy he is today (can still recall Otomo using cd's on the turntable to scrape the stylus against). Dr Jim's label in Melbourne released a Peril CD which is still pretty neat, roots of GZ. re: fennesz, put me in the 'plays' is a great leap forward from 'hotel' boat also. Never has my 'repeat' button had such a workout than when i first heard plays... mark
